As a Senior Data Engineer, for Roblox Personalization team, you will be an important participant in helping Roblox use data to increase user engagement. Your primary responsibility will be to work with product teams to build data-driven features and systems across the Roblox suite of products. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager of the Growth Personalization Team.
YOU ARE
- Experienced, with 5+ Years experience in Data and Software Engineering
- Hands-on in analytics and building large-scale data pipelines
- Proficient in procedural programming languages (e.g. Python, Java)
- Focused with writing SQL statements
- Passionate about working with Machine Learning Engineers to use data
YOU WILL
- Design and build data pipelines for ML models and dashboards or alerts for monitoring the health of the data pipelines.
- Develop and launch new data pipelines and machine learning models in production
- Develop and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes in production
- Support existing processes and machine learning models running in production
- Work with data infrastructure to identify infrastructure improvements and bring to resolution
- Work with product teams to identify data engineering needs to improve product experimentation
