Senior Data Analyst

Amber is looking for an experienced and motivated data leader who can build and lead our data team.

The ideal candidate is energized by the challenge of recruiting and growing a team of data professionals to meet our current and future needs. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and have broad experience in data with a solid understanding of analysis, engineering and data science paired with the ability to mentor and grow people.

YOUR MISSION:

• Deliver compelling insights to influence decisions and roadmaps
• Analytically tackle problems and deliver robust modelling
• Communicate convincingly through visual storytelling
• Work with data engineers to manipulate, analyze and tell a story with complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from multiple sources using different tools and data analysis techniques.
• Create pipeline for Data Science deployment
• Mentor and grow the Data Analyst group members
• Spearhead the growth of the Data group within Amber

YOUR SKILLS:

• 5+ years of work experience in a past analytical role, using data to create process improvements.
• 1+ years experience as a lead (ideal)
• Strong Communicator
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics) or completion of post-secondary level Math and Statistics courses.
• Creative thinking and analytical skills.
• Proficient in one or more of the following: Python, R, Scala, or SQL.
• High familiarity with data platforms and applications such as Snowflake, Redshift, Quicksight, Tableau
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Interest in NFT gaming is a plus
