As our Senior DEI Manager, your role will be to further a culture of inclusion and belonging at Treyarch, guiding and implementing the approach to engaging and retaining diverse talent at the studio. In this role you will work in close collaboration with studio leadership, HR, and the Global Activision Blizzard DE&I team to drive the implementation of the DE&I Strategy, ensure learning programs meet our DE&I needs, and that DE&I practices are embedded throughout our culture and ways of working.
This role includes, but is not limited to the following tasks/duties:
DE&I Operating Model – Performance & Collaboration
- Establish a DE&I rhythm of business with HR and studio leadership
- Build strong relationships with employees, HR and studio leaders to understand needs and ensure relevance and adoption of programs and initiatives
- Establish scorecards with ongoing reporting and visibility for the studio and leadership
Employee Networks
- Support the development, implementation, and growth of Employee Networks at the studio and in partnership with Activision Blizzard’s Employee Networks
- Manage relationships with network leaders and key stakeholders
Development
- Understand DE&I L&D opportunities, provide feedback and define plans together with studio leadership and HR
- Support roll out and implementation of central programs in region
- Collaborate with studio leaders, HR, Comms, to support engagement in DE&I programs and initiatives
2022 Success Factors
- Objectives are set and there is a cadence in place to monitor progress
- Programs and initiatives are progressing per agreed timeline
- The studio has alignment on metrics and has adopted their utilization
- There is an increase in active participation of employees in DE&I conversations and initiatives
Player Profile
Experience
- Previous professional experience within employee experience, culture, diversity, equity & inclusion or similar
- Experience of successfully developing and implementing diversity and inclusion programs
- Experience working with individual contributors, technical specialists, managers, and leaders across a global organization
- Passion for games/tech/entertainment industry; previous experience in games / tech / entertainment industry preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent project management skills together with the ability to work autonomously and pro-actively in a fast-paced, matrix and complex, agile environment
- Ability to influence and partner with leaders and HR to successfully drive initiatives, to gain commitment and support
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills with ability to make recommendations to key stakeholders, studio leaders and HR
- Ability to build relationships and deepen connection at all levels and all dimensions of diversity across the organization, both virtually and in person
- Shifts quickly into action and provides regular communication and updates on progress against objectives
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
