OUR PLATFORM
Activision has world-renowned entertainment and video game franchises, spanning genres and embedding themselves in pop culture for decades. Our current IP includes, but is not limited to, Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, and Tony Hawk Pro Skater. As a member of the Marketing Creative team, you will help bring these franchises to life as we develop campaigns and build creative.
YOUR MISSION
As a Senior Creative Producer, you will oversee operational and account management for one or more of our franchises in Marketing Creative, Activision’s internal creative team that consists of world class creatives across graphic design, video editing, motion graphics, audio design, gameplay capture, photography, live camera, and more. You will ensure a smooth pipeline of projects, a strong relationship with our partners, and a strategic, forward-thinking view of the franchises. While managing and motivating a team of coordinators that are responsible for much of the day-to-day project tasks and partner communications, you will be critical in driving creative ideas forward and are key members in the strategy of everyday assets and long-term campaign planning. Your overarching knowledge of all teams tied to the franchise, including Marketing Creative groups, cross-functional departments, and outside vendors/agencies is important to the success of the team. It is your responsibility to make sure we are delivering assets that are high quality and on schedule, and that we are doing it all with exceptional customer service.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide overall team leadership, developing relationships with the marketing and internal creative teams
- Leverage relationships to inform problem solving and improve team’s focus an output
- Prioritize all deliverables and projects in the pipeline and ensure quality of work meets standards as well as business objectives
- Has proven experience managing multiple streams of work under tight and often changing deadlines
- Is a natural leader with excellent communication skills who is comfortable leading large meetings with executives
- Has a deep understanding of project management, workflow and infrastructure
- Experience in end-to-end digital projects from strategy through execution, experience in game production and mobile gaming is a plus
- Build and maintain positive relationships with partners both inside and outside of Activision
- Brief creatives on incoming requests ensuring all details are taken into account, providing updates to team members and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a project
- Represent Marketing Creative at cross-functional meetings and disseminate info to internal teams
- Create and implement processes to make our project management and overall workflow more efficient
- Address urgent partner issues that arise day-to-day being able to perform well under pressure and ambiguity
- Ability to focus on day to day work while also looking ahead for bigger picture planning
PLAYER PROFILE
Minimum Requirements:
- 6+ years experience in production, account, operational and/or project management, preferably in a consumer marketing or advertising environment working with creative teams
- Able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines while remaining organized, detail-oriented, and friendly
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Must be even-tempered and able to interact well, under pressure, with multiple teams on multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Must be able to successfully prioritize multiple projects
- Must be able to apply knowledge, experience, and learnings to real situations to help solve problems
- Game industry experience preferred
