We are seeking a Corporate FP&A Manager to join our financial team based in Palo Alto, reporting to the Director of FP&A. As an individual contributor on a lean team, this individual will play a critical role in developing metrics, reporting, and deep analyses into the performance of the business. You will also collaborate across the finance organization to deliver insights and drive process improvements. We are looking for candidates who are high energy and excited about building and being a part of a hard-working team. Responsibilities:
- Support core corporate FP&A activities such as consolidation of forecast submissions and forecasting of company-wide line items
- Take ownership of the consolidation process for the annual budgeting exercise, ensuring accuracy of data and conducting thorough sense-checks on assumptions
- Support monthly and quarterly internal reporting such as budget vs. actual analysis including investigation of underlying drivers
- Partner and support cross-functional teams, in addition to corporate functions such as Accounting, Corporate Strategy, Investor Relations, and Treasury:
- Support 10-Q/K and SEC reporting including MD&A and Segment Reporting
- Evaluate the Company’s long-term plan, including valuation analysis of different lines of business
- Support ongoing investor and financial communications
- Analyze cash flow forecasts and business cases for major capital allocation projects
- Assist in short and long-term planning cycles
- Ad hoc financial analysis including modeling for strategic decision support
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; preferably Finance, Banking, or similar fields
- 5+ years relevant work experience in FP&A or banking
- Attention to detail, good at problem solving including the ability to define possible solutions, foresee issues and provide proactive solutions to closure
- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Consistent track record of strong organizational skills
- Experience working with and in a cross-functional team
- Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on, results-oriented and self-motivated
- Analytical skills, flexibility, and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with dynamic expectations
- Must be able to work independently; Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
- Must have skills: Advanced Excel (Power Query / Power Pivot) / Powerpoint
- Nice to have but not required: Experience with mobile gaming, Ad-tech or software; Tableau or other BI reporting software; Adaptive Insights planning or other FP&A software; Netsuite or other similar accounting software
