Senior Content Designer - Monopoly GO!

Scopely is looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our Monopoly GO! game on a remote basis from Spain, UK or US.

Monopoly GO! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has just become one of Scopely’s largest games enjoyed by millions of players. The team is based in Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.

What you’ll do

• Work closely with the product team and contribute to the game design by ideating, creating and implementing high-quality content for the game
• Help to create and maintain a content roadmap that aligns with a clear content strategy and supports business goals
• Collaborate with a team of artists and writers to produce engaging user tutorials, feature narratives and text copy that resonate with players
• Write and edit ideas for original, compelling in-game content that drives engagement and player retention
• Research and implement ideas of how to add licensed IP into the game's content.
• Work in a fast-paced, iterative environment with multiple projects running simultaneously
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the mobile gaming industry and implement current trends and best practices in our content design

What we’re looking for

• A Senior Content Designer with previous experience in content design, preferably on mobile games
• Strong skills in writing clear game tutorials, in-game messages, and text copy that drive player engagement and retention
• Experienced in working on live and content-heavy games
• Previous experience working with Licensed IP based content
• Familiarity with localization and text database tools
• Proven creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to mentor and manage junior content designers and collaborate with the product team
• Ability to work effectively with remote or global teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with team members is multiple time-zones
• Ability to travel to Spain for occasional team offsites
