Zynga is looking for an expert and talented senior concept artist to join the team in Bangalore. You will work closely with the Art Director and Producer to create stunning realistic imagery for our mobile and web products.
You will be responsible for conceiving and finishing high quality and dynamic casino themed scenes with life-like, interesting characters used in game and for promotional purposes. You will also be responsible for visualization, conceiving various assets and characters used throughou t the game.
A passion for creating the unexpected is a must !
Responsibilities:
The Concept Artist will work with the Art Director and Producer, creating art assets which drive the visual identity of the game. This Artist will also create final in-game artw ork, style guide and placeholder artwork. The Concept Artist will create whimsical, fantasy themed and realistic themed illustrations similar to what might be done for theme parks, video games, animation films, toys etc.
Suggested:
The concept artist will create high impact, engaging illustrations, UI elements and concept layouts that define high quality game aesthetics to the player.
Required Skills:
- Quick sketching ability
- Quick visualization ability from written descriptions or discussed ideas
- Illustrati on background preferred with different styles
- Ability to create photo realistic illustrations or cartoony styles for use in game and marketing purposes
- Ability to communicate visually, and to identify and define visual design issues and solutions
- Excellent design skills, including the effective use of color, form, lighting, composition, Anatomy and aesthetics
- Proficient in character, prop design and Background designs
- A passion for games, virtual worlds, and social networking
- Excellent Photoshop skills and other concept art tools
- A strong concept art portfolio
- 3D Studio Max or Maya proficiency is a plus
