Senior Concept Artist
We are looking for an experienced concept artist to join our Visual Development team. Our team is at the front end of our extraordinary cinematics department, building excitement for Blizzard's new and existing IP's. You will be tasked with creating character and environment concepts, color keys, and production illustrations for our cinematic projects.
We are passionate about visual storytelling and are seeking artists who craft concepts that solve the visual design problems that we encounter in production. In this role you will learn the visual language of our various IP's and will adapt your work to those needs. In addition, you will be asked to provide supplemental artwork to assist production departments (e.g. model sheets, material call-outs, orthographic views, etc).

Requirements
- Experience creating digital art in a professional environment
- Strong foundational skills including anatomy, color theory, composition, etc.
- Familiar with the distinctive visual style of Blizzard's IP’s
- Experience collaborating with producers and directors to create visuals that meet the specific requirements of the project.
- Able to understand and address requests for revisions
- Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills, eager to learn and grow, with a can-do attitude.
- A passion for Blizzard games and a willingness to work with others to create outstanding art.
Pluses
- 3D software. such as Blender, Zbrush, Maya or 3D Studio Max
- Experience in the Visual Development processes for animation

This role is anticipated to be assigned as a hybrid work model position, with some work on-site at an Activision Blizzard office and some work remote.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $97,200.00 - $179,900.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
