Concept Artist - Farnborough (Hybrid)

Our projects continue to push forward the boundaries of VR and we’re looking for talented people to help us turn them into a reality. Our talented studio now has over 100 people and has been assembled from world-leading games developers and publishers.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced and versatile Concept Artist to join our rapidly growing creative team to forge exciting and innovative VR worlds. This role requires proven artistic capabilities and great communication skills to work in an energetic and highly collaborative environment. As part of our 2D Team, you will be working on all of our products and pitches, with maximum opportunity for variety of work and creativity. If this sounds like you, let’s talk!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver inspirational, high-quality artwork across a broad range of duties including storyboarding. design contextualisation, development concept art, pitch support and much more
- Excellent visual communication, conveying ideas effectively and with clarity
- Great verbal communication, constructively critiquing the work of others and seeking out opportunities to mentor others.
- Versatility to work with the various art styles of our products, maintaining the art direction to deliver a cohesive aesthetic for any given task
Requirements
Essential Capabilities
- Highly versatile in traditional and digital 2D techniques, showing an aptitude to tackle a wide spread of subject matters, finishes and forms – from stylized to realistic.
- Strong artistic skills, such as draughtsmanship, composition, light and colour, anatomy, colour theory and able to quickly explore ideas, shapes and forms
- Can demonstrate a clear process from reference and early sketches, iterating ideas through to highly finished imagery
- Able to draw on and share experience and knowledge to promote wider expertise across the team.
- Collaboratively minded and open to critiquing work constructively and reacting positively to feedback
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe’s Creative Suite
- An affinity for graphic design layout, composition, typography etc.
Desired experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in complimentary industries.

Salary is competitive and dependent on your experience.
