Senior Compensation Consultant

We are looking for a Sr. Compensation Consultant to lead the Compensation initiatives and programs of the organization. The role manages our annual compensation reviews, compensation programs and systems, trains managers and employees on compensation programs and systems, participates in salary planning and bonus cycles, and manages our relationships with survey providers including completing annual submissions. The role is responsible for maintaining HR systems related to our Compensation programs, including set-up, maintenance, record keeping, reporting, and compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design compensation programs including annual benchmarking review & salary structure design, annual pay study review processes, executive pay analysis, incentive and recognition plans, wage and hour compliance, and communication and change management.
• Serves as expert resource to senior management in the development of effective compensation management strategies and their integration with management objectives, and to Human Resources department regarding compensation issues and questions from management and employees.
• Build strong consultative and collaborative relationships through consultation with management to identify effective pay and compensation strategies for their areas of responsibility to accomplish organizational objectives.
• Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives and future programs.
• Develop and deliver training and tools to facilitate the implementation of variable and base pay programs, principles, and practices for internal HR and employees.
• Identify and execute on process improvements for compensation workflows with a focus on reducing manual processes and creating the best experience for employees involved in the process.
• Ensure data integrity in our compensation systems through accurate administrative processes.
• Participate in implementation of recurring programs such as annual focal, mid-year processes, bonuses, survey benchmarking, salary structure maintenance, and others while applying a mindset of continuous improvement.
• Manage day-to-day Compensation operations, including vendor relationships, contract compliance, and escalation of issues.
• Use data to monitor trends and recommend program plan changes as necessary to keep pace with the market.
• Engage cross-functionally with business partners, recruiters, and managers by providing oversight of compensation programs, budget, and expenses.
• Maintain knowledge of and analyze government regulations, program trends, and prevailing practices and market competitiveness among similar organizations.
• Will assist in plan design, position and job family analysis, and monitor and report key compensation KPI’s.
• Ensure compliance of compensation program administration with federal, state, and local rules and regulations; and associated regulatory reporting requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Previous experience working in the gaming or high tech industry preferred
• Previous experience working in organization that are multi-state/multi-country
• Strong systems skills; knowledge of ADP WFN preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Advanced data analysis skills; especially proficient at using data to inform and influence leaders
• Effective communication skills and ability to partner with all levels of employees and management – from hourly employees all the way to Executives
• Self-Starter; able to work with minimal direction
• Demonstrated problem solving, and time management skills
• Team Player; willing to do whatever is necessary to get the job done
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects & priorities
• Extremely organized and detail oriented
• Experience handling confidential information
• Working knowledge of HR compliance

NICE TO HAVE

• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
• Past experience working on benefits programs
• Experience with Pay Factors is a plus

We are open to remote work in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, MA, MD, NC, NV, NY OR, TX, UT and WA or onsite/hybrid/flex at our Bellevue, WA or Newport Beach, CA offices.

The national salary range for this position is $100,000 - $175,000 per year, plus annual bonus potential. Please note that the salary range shown is a general guideline only. We take into consideration the geography in which you live and your experience and qualifications when determining final salary. This role is also eligible for medical, dental, vision and life insurance, short and long term disability, 401(k), flexible and dependent care spending accounts, PTO, paid holidays and parental leave.
