Position Summary

Crystal Dynamics is seeking an experienced Senior Community & Social Media Manager to develop social media strategies and execute community engagement plans for Marvel’s Avengers. As a Senior Community Manager, you will report to the Director of Community and Social Media and play a major role in the growth and development of the Community team. As part of a veteran community management team armed with the right tools and experience, you will represent one of the most iconic gaming brands in the world!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of talented community and social media managers by providing regular constructive feedback, problem solving, and empowering others to grow
  • Plan, execute and maintain social media and messaging strategies within and external to the studio, including maintaining a campaign calendar and ensuring stakeholders around the world always have clear marching orders
  • Brainstorm and aid development of community campaigns goals, programs, strategies, and tactics that support global PR and Marketing, while maintaining the project budget.
  • Communicate directly with fans - giving attention to and bringing requests and feedback to the forefront of our development and other studio teams, helping turn fans into evangelists
  • Collaborate with internal and external talent in the creation of assets and oversee the approval process of those assets
  • Create and maintain Work with internal stakeholders on establishing and executing influencer campaigns
  • Work with partners on promotions of products, partnerships, sales, etc
  • Execute a data-driven social campaign & sustain campaign with platform-optimized plans, established KPIs and detailed, actionable reporting in a timely manner

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years minimum of experience as a Community or Social Media Manger in the video game industry
  • Experience providing mentorship to a small team, including weekly 1:1s and ability to provide effective growth development plans
  • Experience with native social media (Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics) analytics tools, as well as 3 rd party options such as Google Analytics
  • Strong understanding of social and community channels such as Discord, Reddit, forums, and more

Bonus Skills & Experience

  • Prior social media or community management on an AAA title
  • Familiarity with livestreaming software & light video editing abilities
  • Experience writing copy for in-game messaging, patch notes, blogs, website updates, FAQ and social responses
  • Familiarity with image editing software and light graphic design knowledge
