Job Description
In this position, you will be designing and developing highly scalable AR Cloud services. You will create secure, multi-tenant services, supporting infrastructure and work closely with other AR Cloud, computer vision and machine learning engineers to develop these services in a collaborative, agile environment. As part of your responsibilities, you will work with the Magic Leap device on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with computer vision and machine learning teams to architect a highly scalable system that enables large scale multi-user AR experiences
- Design and implement high-traffic, secure cloud services supporting Magic Leap, iOS and Android devices
- Write unit, integration and load tests
- Work closely with our DevOps engineers to continually deploy and verify new releases
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience designing high-performance, secure, multi-tenant cloud services
- Experience with a variety of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
- Experience deploying and scaling high-traffic services using Amazon and/or Google cloud
- Proficiency in 1 or more of the following programming languages: Elixir/Erlang, C/C++, Python or NodeJS
- Experience with authentication and authorization in the cloud, including access token and secrets management
- Familiarity with Linux, shell-scripting, git and network protocols
- Familiarity with computer vision and/or machine learning algorithms is a plus
- Familiarity with MMO backend or game server development is a plus
Education
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
