Job Description
- Build the character visual quality benchmark and workflow efficiency
- Create realistic 3D models and textures including characters, creatures and assets in accordance with the artistic direction, production deadlines and technical specifications
- Sculpt/model UV & texture and integrate both high & low polygon meshes in a PBR pipeline
- Securing the final quality of assets in the game, and make improvements where necessary to fit technical constraints and artistic direction
- Work with other team(TA, animator, GD, etc.) to create and test placeholder models for early game investigation
- Establish character related production workflow and technical restriction documents for both internal and external group’s needs
- Work with Technical Artists to maintain and improve Character Art pipeline
- Close collaboration with other members of the team(concept and VFX), ensuring the whole progress and quality delivery
- Review and provide feedback of deliverable to internal/external
- Mentor and train other junior 3D artists for both internal and external

- 指导和培训来自内外部的其他初级3D美术师
Qualifications
- More than 5 years’ experience working on video game industry as a character artist, on top of that have creative ability.
- Excellent knowledge of real-time modeling techniques.
- Ability to create character related assets which feel "true nature" through texturing
- Self-sufficient and resourceful, can work under high technical constraints.
- Good understanding of human anatomy and creature structure
- Relevant software proficiencies: Zbrush, Marvelous designer, 3Ds Max, Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop
- Be aware of updated cutting-edge industry art software and technology (AI)to bring it into practice based on project needs to improve production quality and efficiency.
