Job Description

Job Purpose:

Porting Gameloft games to various platforms:

• Handle complex tasks under instruction of supervisor.
• Research and implement new technical knowledge of game platforms into the project.
• Support team members to work smoothly in the project and help them to improve their skill.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Maintain and update current games based on new rules/checklist
• Support lead to train new members when they join team.
• Research new techniques to prepare for any challenge and improve team productivity.
• Write documents about the technical aspect of game project.
• Raise alarm to relevant Managers if there is any block issues; impediments that prevent tasks from reaching milestones. Report to relevant managers on daily basis percentage completion each tasks.
• Good knowledge with application or game programming on PC, mobile.: Propose solutions whenever block issues pop up, to make sure project can run smoothly
• Research on new technology / tools / methods… and communicate with related departments.
• Ability to manage project/feature: know the status of critical tasks, be able to support in urgent cases.
• Ability to communicate effectively: report, discuss, give appropriate questions, convince the decision.
• Ability to coach & mentor other team members.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE:

• Technical knowledge: modern C++, C#, Java, lua, python, and any new technology implied by work.
• Network programming or rendering engine as openGL, DirectX, Vulkan is a big plus.
• Good knowledge with iOS, macOS, Android, Windows platforms is a plus.
• Well understanding about programming design pattern, algorithms and logic thinking.
• Good knowledge of jenkin, svn, git and git CI/CD.
