Senior Business Strategist, China Strategic Advisory

As Business Strategist on the China Strategic Advisory team, you’ll join a dedicated team committed to becoming the most player-focused game company in the world. You share our focus on player experience, rejection of convention, and intense passion for gaming. Specifically, you will take care of strategy and insights initiatives for CN Regional and support to ensure the whole office is equipped with decision-making support. You’ll identify areas where strategy and insights can help improve outcomes and be more player-informed.

The role would focus on the team agenda while taking into account the central product road map, CN's goals, publishing plans, and developing the team’s analytics ability. The role would also support the future vision of CN and may include the tracking/measuring of strategic goals, join the process of exploring emerging business opportunities, and act as the thinking partner of CN leaders for business and operation topics.

Responsibilities:

Corporate Strategy & Planning

• Lead the process of Riot China strategic planning & forecasting by taking global vision and local context into account, coordinate and support senior leaders and different teams, and communicate to central stakeholders
• Assist CN leaders on annual OKR developing, quarterly OKR tracking and reporting.
• Organize the materials of regular corporate-level business reviews and strategy meetings in partnership with the Finance and People teams.
• PMO of cross-team projects of strategic importance

Mobile Capability & Research

• Lead the research of strategic topics with global and regional stakeholders, especially on mobile topics
• Facilitate the establishment of Riot China’s mobile capabilities

Thinking Partner of CN leadership

• Help to explore opportunities of strategic importance, execute new strategic initiatives and relevant experimental projects in China as special task force
• Work with business teams on quarterly questions from investors and synthesize answers in a diplomatic way

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 6+ yrs of related working experience, must have corporate experience
• Passionate about games and the player experience; able to empathize with the joys and plights of players
• Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or business planning.
• Experience in working closely with executives and preparing written reports for them
• Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Professional experience in gaming industry or entertainment content industry
• Experience in management reporting
