Role & Missions - What you will do 🚀
As a Senior Business Developer, you will focus on driving strategic growth and success of Homa through partnerships, market analysis, and revenue generation. The role involves a combination of business strategy, sales, and relationship management. Here are some key responsibilities and activities of a senior business developer in gaming:
- 📈 Grow gaming studio partnerships by taking ownership of deal flow from the inception of lead to the development of pricing, management of contract negotiations, and attention to implementation.
- 🤖 Architect and monitor the pipeline of potential partnerships with gaming studios using sales automation.
- 🤝 Develop and manage strong relationships with studios to close high-impact partnership agreements.
- 💡 Re-imagine opportunities with existing and new gaming studios, and proactively advise Homa Games on new services.
- 🎯 Redefine OKRs across strategic partnerships (quantitative & qualitative metrics) to set goals for and track the performance of our publishing efforts collaborating with gaming studios.
Requirements
Preferred Experience—What's your profile 👀
Having a strong experience in gaming, if you recognize yourself in the following description, you're the one!
- Bachelors/Masters degree within a relevant field from a top engineering or business school.
- At least 3+ years, of relevant professional experience in business, account management, and customer success in the gaming industry; SaaS/Tech industry experience is a plus.
- Deep understanding of the gaming industry, including market trends, player preferences, business models, and platforms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with significant experience cultivating trusting relationships with senior leaders within gaming (game developers, studio heads)
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans that align with overall company objectives.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and guide junior team members.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent working abilities in English - both oral and written; Second language is a plus.
