Senior Business Development Manager - PC

We are seeking a growth minded Senior Business Development Manager to join our Europe team! As a Senior Business Development Manager you will broaden our current relationships with clients, create new opportunities sourced from your large gaming network, and develop a pipeline of business opportunities. In the office you will be a reliable resource for all employees by demonstrating your expert knowledge and sharing ideas. Outside of the office you will be a strong leader in your field with great communication skills. As an individual you are reliable, a self starter, and trustworthy. For this position we are especially looking for a Business Development professional who has extensive experience with PC game publishing along with an already strong network in that segment of the game industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage current and identify prospective accounts, using business intelligence tools (we have a robust proprietary CRM).
- Qualify leads from both internal and external sources and perform targeted outreach to generate new business for Xsolla.
- Build and nurture relationships across accounts to solidify our partnership and commitment to the customer while penetrating the account deeper.
- Proactively understand partners’ roadmap (development schedule, etc.). Work as an extension of their team. Anticipate potential problems and involve appropriate internal team members to devise solutions.
- Facilitate the necessary due diligence for a variety of projects, including working with the internal BD team.
- Work across the organization and involve appropriate teams to solve complex issues.
- Work with Marketing to help create collateral materials for new and prospective partners.
- Represent Xsolla at industry events and conferences and recommend additional events to attend– know your networking opportunities and leverage them to your advantage.
- Develop an understanding of typical business challenges faced by developers and publishers and common objectives to appropriately map Xsolla’s tools and services, as well as associated business benefits to address their needs.
- When appropriate, recommend additional Xsolla tools and services needed to drive partner success.
- Maintain and update CRM.
- Communication with customers, competitors, suppliers, professional organizations, or others to stay abreast of industry or business trends.
- Achieve success metrics.
- Representing the company towards EU prospective and existing partners.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or related experience.
- Must have an established track record of driving revenue.
- Ability to successfully participate in projects involving cross-functional teams and work well across the organization.
- Ability to build successful client relationships; build and maintain your pipeline.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service/interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- PC game publishing industry knowledge.
- Must be able to immediately handle a significant workload and effectively prioritize projects with a high degree of autonomy, self-starter.
- Effective time management skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Must have a passion for games and/or prior experience in the game industry .
- Verbal and written English fluency at a business level.
- Able to travel up to 30%.
PREFERRED
- 5 + years of business development experience in the PC gaming publishing industry with a strong network.
- Experience with an entrepreneurial organization.
