What you'll do
In this fast-paced role, you will manage multiple business-impacting projects encompassing Sales, Support, and other use cases for Epic’s implementation of Salesforce, which includes Salesforce CPQ and Communities. You will be a key interface with our stakeholders for understanding needs, eliciting requirements, shaping them into user stories for either our internal team or 3rd-party consultants. You will nurture those stories through refinement, solutioning, development, testing, and delivery activities. You will assist the business with UAT and change management to ensure successful deliveries. You will provide our stakeholders with clarity around project progress. You should have excellent communication skills along with enough technical aptitude to translate between stakeholders and developers.
In this role, you will
- Work closely with developers and junior analysts as part of an Agile team to deliver Salesforce-based solutions
- Work closely with a broad set of stakeholders across many functional areas at Epic to understand their processes and challenges
- Make recommendations to improve processes and address the challenges
- Understand the power of the declarative development on the Salesforce platform and what can be solutioned without the need for custom code
- Assist with the configuration of Salesforce solutions
- Participate in defining system integration and user-acceptance test plans
- Assist with the analysis of bug fixes/ issues
- Partner with the business areas in the creation of process workflow documentation and user training when necessary
- Assist with the creation of reports as needed
- Provide regular communication of status to relevant stakeholders
- Keep up to date with new releases and improvements in Salesforce.com
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of CRM experience, Salesforce.com very much preferred
- 2+ years gathering and documenting requirements
- 2+ years business process modeling
- Demonstrated experience working as part of an Agile team
- Strong ability to work independently or with little direction
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Salesforce certifications not required, but preferred
- JIRA experience not required, but preferred
- Experience utilizing tools such as Google Drive and LucidChart, or similar
