T he Sales Analytics team is a supportive function that works rigorously across a multitude of projects across the studio. In this role, you will report to the Director of Sales Analytics. As Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for synthesizing large sets of financial, sales, and market data. This role will focus on developing actionable insights in support of Crystal Dynamics games and strategic studio initiatives. The ideal candidate will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment and will help influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of analyses. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will...
- Support stakeholders by sourcing and reconciling large sales and business intelligence datasets from multiple systems to provide diligent analytics-based decisions
- Manage complex workstreams that involve multiple stakeholders of various backgrounds, skills, and experiences
- Ownership of the preparation, analysis, communication of various recurring reports, as well as forecasting/presenting scenarios that will optimize top line and bottom-line growth for businesses
- Ability to own projects from idea to implementation and deliver on time and to scope, managing multiple tasks and priorities concurrently within deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
- Superior ability to apply independent reasoning and problem-solving skills to derive viable solutions to problems, with the ability to logically break down approach and assumptions
- Adapt communication and presentation style to suit different audiences
- Maintain confidentiality of private and sensitive information
As a Senior Business Analyst, you must have...
- BA/BS degree in finance, economics, business, statistics, math and/or similar field with a proven record of outstanding academic achievement
- Experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent, with ability to model and interpret very large data sets for leadership and frame business issues in a straightforward manner, including sales pipeline and deferred revenue projections
- Knowledge of the gaming industry trends and understanding of global operations
- Strong mathematic, analytical thinking, forecasting, and modeling skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced understanding of Advanced Excel (VB, arrays, etc.)
- Proficiency with following:
- MicroStrategy, Looker, or similar database interface platforms
- Tableau, PowerBI, or similar front-end BI platforms
- Google BigQuery, AWS, or similar database management systems
- SQL
It’ll be a bonus if you also have...
- Experience in entertainment and/or media preferred, but this role is also a good fit for candidates with experience working in corporate finance or consulting who want to make the jump to the entertainment industry.
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Expert mastery in one or more of the tools above
The pay range for this role includes the annual base salary, not including bonus and the generous benefits package that Crystal Dynamics provides all full-time employees. Individual compensation is determined by work location within our approved states, as well as additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education. Your recruiter will be able to share more information about total compensation.
Pay Range
$77,000 — $115,000 USD
