Senior, Salesforce Technical Systems Analyst, Lead to Cash

Magic Leap’s Business Technology (BT) organization is looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Technical Systems Analyst, Lead to Cash, who will work closely with the Salesforce Product Owner, internal stakeholders, and our consulting partners and be ultimately responsible for the technical delivery of Sales Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will be Salesforce System Administrative certified with the ability to collaborate, give thought leadership and define solutions to technical problems, ensure the quality of the technical design and help define multi-year technical roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Assess and make recommendations on technical, functional and process requirements
- Analyze business process needs and provide recommendations for improvement
- Monitor ticket queues and work to resolve issues promptly
- Provide concise status updates on support tickets, user stories and any other efforts delivered by the Lead to Order team
- Review, update and approve technical design based on demonstrations and documentation
- Review and approve change sets as features move from development to QA, UAT and finally to production
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, forms, templates, page layouts workflows and approvals, create and maintain custom objects, object relationships, standard and custom fields
- Configure Salesforce-based tools and technology per requirements
- Conduct testing and track issues and their resolution
- Create business process documentation and contribute to the knowledge base
- Install, manage and maintain third party apps
- Provide technical thought leadership on Salesforce current capabilities and features included in Salesforce quarterly releases
- Establish and implement best practices: system maintenance,, improvements, data integrity, duplicates, backups, etc.
- Collaborate with consulting partners regarding Apex code
- Import and export data to support data management and governance and audit requirements
- Communicate clearly and professionally in verbal and written situations
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required
Reporting and Location
As our Senior Salesforce Technical Systems Analyst, Lead to Cash you will report to our Director, Business Technology, Lead to Cash. The role can be located remotely in the US or Canada or based out of our HQ office in Plantation, Florida.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Salesforce experience with sales cloud in a technical role
- Excellent understanding of Lead to Order process and procedures
- Excellent understanding of administrator functions such as
- Proficient in creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, forms, templates, page layouts workflows and approvals, create and maintain custom objects, object relationships, standard and custom fields
- Experience installing, managing and maintaining third party apps
- Keep abreast of Salesforce releases and corresponding documentation and provide new functionalities and solutions as needed
- Understanding of coding using Apex
- Understanding of Apex Data loader to import and export data as needed
- 5+ years as Technical Analyst working experience with System Implementations, requirements gathering and documentation
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting closely-spaced, ambitious timelines;
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to collaborate with a team of functional analysts and developers in various geographies;
- Experience using 'Agile' methodologies as a Scrum Master preferred
- Experience using JIRA
- Must have a working knowledge of project management lifecycle and techniques
- Understands quality assurance methodologies and the principles of software design
Education
- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
- Business Analysis Certification preferred
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required
