Senior Build Engineer

Job Description

CD PROJEKT RED Vancouver is searching for an experienced Build Engineer to join our Engine Team to ensure our project’s build process is as quick and hassle free as possible. As a Build Engineer, you will maintain and implement pipeline automation, continually looking for ways to optimize for better build deployment. You will be liaising with and supporting designers, artists and other programmers, helping ensure that their work is effective and uninterrupted.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement and maintain production pipeline tools
• Create and maintain automation systems for optimal running of the game build
• Identify, communicate and propose solutions to issues impeding build performance
• Collaborate and communicate with development teams of all disciplines on build issues and how best to resolve them
• Release deployment coordination

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience in game development with a focus on build engineering
• Strong experience with C++, C# or Python
• Communication skills: the ability to express yourself clearly both verbally and in written documentation
• Experience in shipping a AAA game is considered an asset

• Unreal 4 and 5 experience preferred
