The Opportunity
Unity’s Global Communications team is looking for a Senior Blog Editor to grow the Unity Blog into a powerful communication and brand awareness channel. Our organization is spread across multiple offices around the world and supports every cross-functional team within Unity.
Unity’s Senior Blog Editor, is in charge of building, implementing, and owning strategy and operations. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with our web, SEO, and creative teams to improve channel health and performance. You’ll partner with content owners across the business – from gaming, to XR, to social impact – to ensure blog content helps build a valuable community/user experience, and drives organic web traffic.

What you’ll be doing
- Own and evolve the blog, turning it into brand awareness and engagement tool that puts our users above all else
- Be responsible for the blog content pipeline, ensuring streamlined processes are in place to move work forward efficiently
- Partner with teams across the company — including social media, community, PR, web, SEO, product, and content marketing — to build and implement a blog roadmap that supports overall marketing and business goals.
- Ensure QA and review for all content by relevant teams (product marketing, copywriting, legal, creative, etc.)
- Establish a strong promotional strategy to drive engagement with blog post content and raise brand awareness
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience working in digital marketing, content, social media, or communications
- Experience growing a community (e.g., blog, YouTube, social media, podcast, etc.) and ability to provide in-depth audience insights
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with demonstrated success creating compelling narratives
- Familiarity working in a CMS (e.g., Drupal, WordPress) and/or publishing content to the web
- Experience working with Google Analytics and G-Suite tools
You might also have
- Ability to prepare reports and post-mortems, with a focus on data and key insights.
- Experience working on a distributed team across many time zones.
