Lead Game Developer (M-Gun Studio)

Deciding to expand its portfolio of products further, Voodoo has more recently announced that it will invest $200M in blockchain gaming studios, to lead the transformation of mobile gaming.

Voodoo's Gaming business unit is made up of hyper-casual, hybrid-casual, casual, mid-core and blockchain experts. Our 'Core' games team supports internal and external studios worldwide in creating, developing and launching new hit games, whilst our 'Live' games team focuses on delivering higher engagement on our existing and successful games.

You will have the opportunity to be one of the first key roles to join M-Gun, a newly created blockchain studio fully backed by Voodoo. As a tech lead, on top of being responsible for all technical aspects of the projects, we expect you to be a fundamental driver of the studio's creative process, strategy, and philosophy. Blockchain and hybrid casual are a whole new world to explore. Being first in the market means that you can participate in what blockchain can become and unleash its full potential. As a new market, everything is possible, so we need people able to explore new ideas extremely fast, test the wildest ideas, and kill them quickly if needed. As you could understand, the role implies a lot of ownership. You will be one of the critical people to shape the studio and bring it to success.

With this role, you will be core to the company by contributing daily to important decisions with a multidisciplinary team of passionate and talented people. Flesh out the details of a game's design, oversee its testing, and revise the game in response to player feedback. Role

• Create the next generation of blockchain games for mobile
• Actively participate in the studio creation, from game design to strategy and production philosophy.
• Always look for a hit, even if that implies regularly killing prototypes.
• Create the first tools that will allow fast prototyping and iterations
• Decent expertise in almost every technical aspect of a game: client, server, art integration, etc.
• True team spirit in order to work efficiently with any profile.
• In the near future, build and manage a versatile dev team, and set our quality standards.

Profile

• At least 5 years of experience as a mobile game developer in Unity
• Solid knowledge of all tech-related areas
• Curiosity for blockchain games and their potential
• Good understanding of mobile midcore audiences
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Ability to create fast and kill even faster
• Comfortable in a new environment where everything has to be created from the ground up
• Good level of English ( both writing and speaking)
