Senior Backend Software Developer

You’re a skilled cloud and backend developer working from the concept proposal through planning, build, and ultimately to delivery. You're capable of architecting and designing an elegant backend to solve a complex problem bring your passionate and inventiveness to the team. Unity Accelerate Solutions is looking for passionate developers that can merge their experience with our innovation to tackle new problems and deliver professional implementations with our growing team.

What you’ll be doing

• Participate in envisioning and developing new services and API’s, establish infrastructure, and implement protocols
• Develop and maintain cloud and backend systems, coordinating with the product design and project management teams, identifying technical roadblocks and proposing solutions
• Collaborate with the project leadership and other software developers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain solutions
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code and infrastructure
• Observe and foster code quality standards and agile software development methodologies

What we’re looking for

• Experience building highly available and scalable distributed systems from the ground up
• Expertise in an array of cloud and backend technologies, stacks, and platforms
• Problem solver with a natural investigative ability to seek the best solution and grit to overcome development challenges
• Good communicator with the ability to understand and discuss in depth software design fluently
• Capable of working constructively as part of a team with diverse skills and backgrounds

You might also have

• Experience building backend systems to be deployed to either a public cloud or on-prem hardware
• In depth knowledge of security best practices relevant for cloud applications
• Experience with scalable solutions and the prospect of large data sets
