Stuff We Will Trust You With

You will work on presentation aspects of the game with character, UI, and environments. You can pretty much tackle anything that gets put in front of you. You enjoy working on a diverse range of content, like a variety of work in your day to day, and are happy putting together an environment for the background of a character as well as putting the character in the best light. You will collaborate with artists, designers and engineers to bring visually compelling characters to life with an emphasis on presentation art in the UI and outside of the game.

Stuff You Can Rightfully Brag About

You may wonder what it will take to be successful in this role. Well, we’re always looking for people who are game developers first and who can help us become even better than we are today, so these are probably some of your previous achievements:

• 6+ years game development experience, specifically creating real time characters or environments and items using Maya, ZBrush and Substance Designer/Painter (or equivalent 3D and 2D programs)
• Solid understanding of composition, color theory, lighting and scene development
• Knowledge of VFX pipelines and general workflows
• A passion to tackle any challenge and learn new things
• Demonstrated proficiency with current techniques and PBR workflows
• Self-motivated, humble, excellent communications skills, and a legendary team-player attitude

How You Will Stand Out

Most importantly, we want to get to know your authentic self. Life’s too short to pretend to be something you’re not (unless we’re talking cosplay of course). That said, we hope you have:

• AAA PC or console experience as a 3D artist
• Solid foundation in the traditional arts, including but not limited to figure drawing, illustration and conceptual design
• Basic understanding of rigging, animation, and deformation
• Passion for all things games, Blizzard, and Diablo!

And yeah, you will need these things to apply

• Portfolio demonstrating relevant programming and artistic skills required
  • Only online artwork submissions will be accepted (e.g. website, blog or online album)
• Must be willing to complete a test if requested to do so
