The role @ Sumo:

Sumo Sheffield has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Art Producer to join our Central Art team. Reporting into the Head of Art, the Senior Art Producer will lead the Art Production team and will work with Art Leads and Project Producers to ensure the timely delivery of quality assets whilst developing and maintaining efficient workflows and pipelines.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Responsibility of the motorship and development of the team’s Art Producers

· Own the high-level Central Art roadmap, ensuring all project needs are met and scheduling conflicts are resolved early

· Ensure sure the Central Art team are well supported and have everything they need to do their best work

· Take responsibility for studio level process improvement, identifying opportunities and rolling out solutions

· Consult with project teams to understand their upcoming art needs and help them build out backlogs and roadmaps

· Work with Central Art Leads to create a positive, open and inclusive work environment

· Be a spokesperson for Central Art, promoting best practice and ensuring the team is well utilised

· Identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, capacity and project goals

· Own the Central Art risk tracker and work with the team to ensure suitable mitigation is in place

· Work with the Central Art team to develop and promote best practice Art workflows

To be successful you will have:

· Experience as an Art focused Producer on at least 2 shipped titles

· Ideally, AAA console development experience

· Great people management skills, using a friendly and understanding approach to our team members

· A passion for process and process improvement

· Ability to work under pressure and achieve results under tight deadlines

· Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to priorities a varying workload effectively

· An open, positive and collaborative attitude

· Confidence to find solutions to problems

· An eye for detail with the ability to make sure that all the information is accurate and correct

· Be adaptable and open to change due to the evolving criteria with external and internal teams

· Passion for Art and the games industry
