Senior Art Outsourcing Producer
Our Senior Outsourcing Producer will be able to produce and manage art assets across 2D, 3D (incl. model, texture, rigging, animation) discipline, and review unity asset implementation in the outsourcing pipeline for individual or multiple game(s) and feature(s) with very little guidance. Is beginning to contribute as a leader on the OS production team.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly reviews art deliverable, then provides art direction for multiple outsourcing vendors and/or quickly resolves/iterates on problematic areas
- Manages the outsourcing production schedule and ensure the work is delivered on time to meet project deadlines
- Monitors outsourced art assets to ensures all brand qualities and style requirements are met
- Communicates closely with vendors, ensuring art feedback is clearly communicated and understood
- Partners with various departments (Product, Production, Art and Game Design) as the main communication channel and principal contact for multiple Outsourcing vendors
- Partners closely with OS Production team to ensure healthy outsourcing pipeline and strong relationships
- Mentors and manages mid, level OS Producers by setting goals, reviewing and giving quality and actionable feedback on work, writing reviews, and providing ongoing performance feedback
Nice-To-Have
- Experience reviewing outsourced art quotes and capable of cost corrective action
- Experience managing art outsourcing purchase request
Qualifications:
- A strong art portfolio representing both 2D and 3D work that displays proficiency in Maya, Unity, and Photoshop
- Experience producing art assets across 2D, 3D (incl. model, texture, rigging, animation) discipline, and review Unity asset implementation in the outsourcing pipeline for individual or multiple game(s) and feature(s) with guidance from senior OS team members
- Proficient at managing multiple projects with competing priorities
- Experience producing high-quality art assets within specific technical limitations
Requirements:
- BA degree in animation, illustration, fine arts, graphic art/design, or a closely related discipline
- 5 years of experience as an Outsource Producer, Art Lead, or Project Manager in game development
- Or Masters Degree with 3+ years of game development experience
