Senior Application Security Manager

Position Overview:
Partnering with the Director of Application Security, this role is responsible to engage across Studios Teams, Central Technology Teams and Cybersecurity in managing, overseeing and developing an Application Security Team based in India. The person in the role will help drive engineering efforts to improve overall Cybersecurity efforts within our gaming products and services. We are seeking a manager who has experience leading and guiding hackers through their daily work engagements of finding bugs and vulnerabilities, while working with the engineering teams to drive effective remediations. This role will be responsible for the efficacy of their team and their ability to drive positive change within Zynga.
Positions Duties:
1. Manage a Team of 5-6 Penetration Testers
2. Coordinate quarterly planning process (OKRs - Objectives and Key Results) across the Security team, including quarterly off-sites.
3. Drive Penetration Testing Engagements with a high degree of Engineering satisfaction.
4. Provide the Director of Application Security with insightful data-driven strategic recommendations. Communicate findings from initiatives to management and the broader organization.
5. Partner closely with other functions including Product and Engineering, Communications, PR, Marketing, Revenue, HR, Talent
6. Attend meetings on behalf of the CSO and act as a representative when required.
7. Solve ambiguous problems.
Desired Skills and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related subject area or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree (science, engineering, technology)
2. Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE) is highly desirable
3. Offensive Security Certified Professional is required
4. 5-7 years in Application Development / Penetration Testing required
5. 2-3 years in leading small highly technical teams
6. Experience in the gaming or is a plus
7. Ability to work independently and within a team
8. Outstanding grammar, writing mechanics, and attention to detail is helpful.
