Senior Animator

We are seeking a talented, motivated, and experienced Senior Animator to help bring the Core metaverse to life. You will collaborate with fellow animators, designers and engineers to bring to life stylized avatars and characters for a vast range of games and experiences spanning many themes and genres. Our headquarters are located in San Mateo, CA but this role can be fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Create top-quality key-frame, character animations for use in gameplay, emotes, prop interactions, crafting
• Animate a variety of creatures from mobs to mounts - biped, quadruped, avian rigs
• Work with character, tech, vfx and audio artists to design animation solutions for the project as it develops
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to plan and implement new character animation features and mechanics

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years experience in game development as an animator
• Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude
• Ability to execute high quality animations from both loose and detailed design requirements
• Deep understanding of Animation Principles

Pluses

• Experience using Unreal Engine, animation state machines, and/or procedural animation pipelines
• Familiarity with facial blendshape pipelines
• Previous experience working on a game in the action, fantasy, or shooter genres
• Have shipped multiple finished products in a lead or senior artist position
• Previous experience with facial animation pipelines
• Proven problem-solving and prototyping ability
• Fluency in NFTs, Crypto, Metaverse

$80,000/year to $130,000/year

A reasonable estimate of the current US base salary range for this position is salary (the range listed above) + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
