Senior Animator

This is a US based -Remote position. No phone calls or emails from external recruiters or recruiting agencies.

As a member of the Animation team, you’ll be a magician who brings characters to life using classic animation principles and body mechanics that you have mastered. You have an innate ability to grasp animation pipelines at such a high level of skill as both an animator that your graphics are considered “benchmark” for the industry. Your demo reel showcases a variety of walk cycles, a diverse selection of game-related animation, and a strong foundation in the principles of animation, including weight, anticipation, and impact. You will work on a small team with designers, programmers, and artists to deliver content that fits their vision and take augmented reality gaming to the next level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create animations for characters, environments and props
• Evaluate and identify ways to breathe life and weave magic into each experience
• Assist UI and Concept Artists in visualizing and enhancing the UI/UX

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of animation experience in games
• Proficient in the use of Maya
• Exceptional skill at bringing expressive motion to organic characters and creatures
• Can set up and create rigs for various body forms, motion, and personality types
• Passionate about gaming and visual entertainment, seeking ways to inspire and entertain through animation

PLUSES

• Experience in setting up and working with mechanim
• Knowledge and experience using Unity3D
