We are currently seeking for a Senior Accountant to join our Ubisoft Bucharest team in a fast-paced international environment where we enjoy the projects and the people we work with. What’s in it for you? Your main mission will be to:

Manage autonomously daily accounting entries and other financial standard transactions in accordance with accounting principles and procedures.

Collect, compile and verify standard financial information to prepare accurate and timely financialreports for her scope.

Investigate and recommend solution to solve accounting entry issues.

Answer vendors / clients enquiries by resolving issues in her scope and escalating to his managers when required.

Qualifications

Your main mission

Responsibilities:

Local accounting reporting

· Daily operations of full accounting cycle, including but not limited to vendor setup/maintenance, clients setup, vendor / clients invoices, weekly check runs, month end close activities, reevaluation processes, reconciliation processes, payroll, bank statements, petty cash, meal tickets, taxi vouchers, etc

· Accurately prepare and maintain accounting documents and records

· Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense report and according to the information received from the Financial Planning team

· Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions

· Disburse petty cash by recording entry; verifying documentation

· Prepare monthly accounting entries related to inventory, including adjustments, variances, shipments, and receipts

· Ensure that purchased assets are depreciated according to local GAAP requirements

· Ensure proper GL account and department coding of all Interco revenues, expenses and accruals

· Manage all domestic and foreign bank account reconciliations

· Prepare and record travel & expense reimbursements and corporate credit card transaction and reports

· Assist with documentation and information required by auditors and / or fiscal authorities

· Participate in the preparation fiscal declarations within deadlines

· Ensure proper archiving of all accounting documents

· Collaborate with the team to complete month end close

· Work with the Accounting Manager on other ad-hoc analyses or projects as requested

· Protects company’s privacy, integrity and value by keeping information confidential

· Proactive coordination with internal business partners, including but not limited to: Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Workplace, Payroll, Finance (FP&A), Fiscal Consultant, IT/Business Intelligence

Group Reporting

· Reclassify the accounting data from local reporting to HFM reporting in accordance with IFRS and guidance from Head Office

· Ensure proper cost allocation on projects as required by Financial Planning team

· Discuss with accounting team in Head Office regarding any questions or requests on the group reporting

· Support on ICP reporting preparation and submission within deadlines

· Support on margin adjustment calculation and communication

· Provide support to finance planning and other customers as needs arise, including ad-hoc analysis and special projects

· Ensure compliance with the financial procedures of the organization

· Book any IFRS adjustments in the accounting software

· Perform reclassifications as needed / requested

Tresaury activities

· Update daily the cash-flow file (add payments into the file according to agreed payment terms)

· Check that all supporting documents are available before processing the payments

· Enter the payments into the banking system

· Support the internal / external audit missions

The value you bring

· Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field

· 4+ years combined experience in corporate accounting including tax accounting knowledge (it's a plus)

· Good knowledge of financial accounting concepts, local GAAP and IFRS, intercompany transactions

· Experience with Excel and manipulating large data sets (it's a plus)

· Prior experience with business intelligence software and ERP systems

· Good analysis skillset, with the ability to read, analyze, interpret and explain complex financial data
