Senior Accountant

NCSOFT is looking for a detail-oriented senior accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties as they relate to tax filings and other accounting-specific issues. The senior accountant’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, performing account and tax reconciliations, liaising with external tax consultants, assisting with audit preparations, and other accounting duties as assigned. To be successful in this role, the senior accountant should have a strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, be detail-oriented, and experienced in working with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing, reviewing, and coordinating the preparation of tax returns with a third-party tax consultant.
• Maintain accurate records as they relate to tax filings, payments, and state tax registrations.
• Assist with both tax and non-tax related audits and filings.
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies, audit findings, and other compliance issues.
• Performing other accounting duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• 2+ years of working with large data sets
• Experience in working with large data sets.
• Demonstration of strong analytical skills and the ability to drive process changes.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial statements.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), familiarity with accounting and data reporting systems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
