Founded in 2009, KIXEYE creates, develops, and publishes massively multiplayer online real-time strategy games (MMORTS) for computers, tablets, and smartphones. We are based in Victoria, BC and are one of 23 studios within Stillfront Group AB, a publicly traded entity with headquarters in Sweden.

KIXEYE is home to the Stillfront North American Finance team which manages the financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, internal control and M&A work for the North American entities within Stillfront Group.

The Finance team is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team who is looking to grow with the group and ultimately work into a role where they are the responsible party for the entire financial function of a studio.

This role would work directly with everyone in our team from the CFO down.

What we do:

● Monthly and Annual close process including; preparation of journal entries, monthly accruals, back-
end calculations, account reconciliations, revenue reporting, monthly reporting package
● Responsible for cash management, wire payments, quarterly cash forecasting, AP/AR
● Responsible for payroll including semi-monthly preparation, journal entries, regulatory filings, ad-hoc
requests from employees
● Provide analytical support for functional expense reviews
● Working closely with the Head of Finance to deliver timely assistance and guidance related to all
accounting functions and ad-hoc requests
● Provide support and assistance with audits, tax returns, budgets and forecasts, financial reporting
● Prepare GAAP compliant transactions for all areas of responsibility (US GAAP and IFRS)
● Ensure that detailed accounting documentation is compiled and maintained in support of relevant
legal, regulatory, and audit requirements.

What you bring to the role:

● 4+ years in Accounting, ideally with experience in Public Accounting, Big 4 preferred
● CPA, or CPA candidate
● A high rate of interaction with internal customers and senior management requires excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
● Comfortable working remotely in a technical environment
● Ability to juggle multiple projects while working with deadlines
● Proficiency with Excel required; experience with NetSuite or QuickBooks an asset
● Strong organizational skills with a great deal of attention to detail
● Experience with ICFR a plus
● Must have a strong work ethic and excel in a fast-paced environment.
