ACCOUNTING & FINANCE
What We Do
Our Finance and Accounting teams build the financial infrastructure to scale our growing company. We combine analytical and strategic thinking to develop a sound financial future for our global brand. We work closely with teams across the company, international subsidiaries, as well as with external partners to ensure a world-class finance organization. Our team contains experts from fields like tax, treasury, purchasing, FP&A, and more.
What You'll Do
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for all areas of accounting and financial reporting for Epic Games Store and Epic Games Publishing.
In this role, you will
- Ensure completeness, accuracy and quality in all areas of Epic Games Store and Epic Games Publishing accounting and financial reporting
- Determine and execute proper accounting treatment for various business activities and arrangements
- Collaborate with FP&A to develop and report on key performance indicators, monthly financial data, and forecasts to drive continuous improvement and Store performance
- Assist with calculation of monthly payments to external customers
- Prepare and deliver monthly reporting to external customers
- Manage game catalog and related business functions
- Interact with internal and external partners to deliver a high standard of customer service and collaborate regarding automation of systems and processes
What we're looking for
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience
- Experience using ERP systems or complex accounting software systems preferred
- Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills preferred
- Excellent organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in gaming preferred
