Blizzard Entertainment games don’t just begin with game ideas, or end once those games are released. A lot more goes into the creation of a Blizzard product than the work of developers—and we support our games for years after they’re in the hands of gamers world-wide.

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Accountant who will become an indispensable resource for Blizzard’s games and products. This position will be part of Blizzard Korea’s Accounting team in accounting closes, journal entry preparation, monthly reconciliations, and more.

Minimum Requirements

Experience

• Over 7 years of professional experience in accounting or related field of the multi-national companies
• Experience preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and managing general accounting
• including tax, payable, receivable, revenue accounting, general ledger, and account reconciliation
• Experience supporting on annual external audit process
• Experience preparing tax filing of withholding tax, VAT, corporate tax, local income tax, and ad-hoc tax reports
• Experience establishing and maintaining effective internal controls, including building accounting processes and policies
• Experience leading various accounting system implementation projects

Knowledge & Skills

• Good command of written and spoken English & communication skills
• Good at excel spreadsheets, knowledge of accounting software
• Strong knowledge of K GAAP and tax regulations
• Analysis skills and accuracy in details

• Experience in management of Lease accounting under US GAAP preferred
• Experience in supporting BEPS reporting preferred
