For our next ambitious AAA game project, QUANTIC DREAM MONTREAL is looking for a Senior AI / Gameplay Programmer.
MAIN RESPONIBILITIES
Within a multidisciplinary team and in collaboration with the rest of our R&D teams, you will actively participate in the development of our productions.
As part of your function:
- You will be in charge of programming gameplay features related to the behavior of NPCs in different game contexts.
- You propose and develop technical solutions meeting the AI needs of the Game Design.
- You work in close collaboration with all the production-related trades (Game Design, script, cameras, animation) in order to respond in the most efficient way possible to their production issues, but also to provide them with constraints clear and manageable.
The engine is a technology developed in-house.
Experienced, you are curious and want to progress in a stimulating environment. You are eager to adapt your experience to the specifics of this project.
Working on an ambitious and original project, surrounded by seniors in a human-sized team, is for you something essential.
Required skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- With at least 5-6 years of experience in the video game industry, you have at least one successful experience with similar responsibilities in an AAA studio.
- Strong mastery of C/C ++.
- Good video game culture and interest.
- Good knowledge of mathematics.
- Very good adaptability.
- Very good interpersonal skills. Want to follow the evolution and use of its code from conception to use by users.
- Rigor and reliability.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize.
- You show initiative and are proactive.
- You want to invest in innovative projects with high added value.
- Bilingual is an asset.
