Senior 3D Artist

Job Description
The Senior 3D Artist will collaborate closely with the Lead Artist and production in following up and validating the art team’s work, overseeing work quality and deadlines, coaching team members, and validating production outcomes while overseeing part of the development of the game.
The main and routine tasks of the Senior 3D Artist are to:
- Model and texture high-quality assets, high-poly and low-poly versions
- Deliver high-quality art assets and ensure their efficient integration in the game
- Take ownership of the work developed and make sure it fits within the game standards and needs
- Define and improve the graphical pipeline and tools
- As a senior team member, take responsibilities and initiatives such as mentoring, research and art direction
Qualifications
- Preferably with 5 years of experience as a 3D Artist
- Skilled in a 3D package (e.g. Autodesk Softimage, 3D Studio Max, Maya, IXSI, LightWave, ZBrush)
- Proficient in a 2D authoring software (e.g. Quixel, Ndo, Substance Design, Substance Painter, Photoshop)
- Understands the usage of PBR, its theory and material creation
- Understands the usage of at least one real-time engine or tool (e.g. UDK, CryEngine, Unity, Marmoset Toolbag)
- Ability to take direction well
- Creative, detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to work under pressure
- Willingness to improve both his/ her own and the team's performance, as well as workflows, for the project's benefit
- Ability to work in a team, with good leadership skill, and can delegate work accordingly
- Excellent time and priority management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
- Passion for video games with knowledge on different game genres across all platforms
