WGames is a well-funded, social gaming company based in the heart of downtown Toronto. We develop high-end mobile games that will be distributed globally. We are seeking a talented Senior 2D Artist to join our team .
Established in 2017 by President & CEO, Daniel Kajouie, the company’s headquarters operates in the heart of Downtown Toronto. WGAMES is equipped with unsurpassed facilities and world-class talent in art, design and software development paired with a seasoned leadership team in the mobile and social gaming industry.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of all illustrated and UI assets for games assigned to you
- Work closely with the team through daily check-ins to ensure the brief is being followed and style is on track
- Manage time efficiently to make sure deadlines are met in this fast paced environment.
- Liaise with all stakeholders to confirm the game is designed according to the vision set out at the start of the project.
- Use our project management tools to track the progress of your project and provide visibility across the team
- Research, play, and study casino games to stay up to date with current trends and competition
- Perform any other design related tasks as may be required.
Essential Experience:
- 3+ years of mobile game art production
- An Adobe ninja with a portfolio to back it up, with a focus on character design
- Strong track-record with the successful production of impactful games
- An understanding mobile game development, with a focus on optimizing games for best performance
- Be experienced in running multiple projects and be highly organized in order to deliver to tight deadlines
- Show a passion for what you do and show a desire to make an impact in the gaming Industry
- Excellent teamwork skills and flexibility
- Experience working with project tracking tools
- Good attitude and not afraid to get your hands dirty and help out when necessary
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in producing art for casino style games
