Senior 2D Animator, Marketing

As a 2D Animator, are you looking for an opportunity to let your imagination run wild? Look no further!

We are seeking experienced 2D Animators to join our Marketing Team and help us to create top-notch marketing videos. With a strong understanding of how to use animation to tell a compelling story, you’ll not only showcase our games but also captivate and delight audiences across the globe with spirited stories. You’ll illustrate new frames with existing in-game items and characters in various styles, create new assets, and animate them from scratch. Whether you specialize in traditional frame-by-frame animation or digital tools such as Adobe Animate or Toon Boom Harmony, we want someone who can bring characters and plots to life through their animation.

Here's what you’ll do

• Create 2D animations of stylized characters and in-game items to tell exciting stories in our marketing campaigns
• Work together with the marketing team to make concept decisions in line with marketing strategies
• Produce style frames from concept to execution in addition to producing animations
• Storyboard and animate ad creative ideas with strong drawing skills, and a demonstrated sense of storytelling, staging, composition, and character acting
• Improve execution with iterative processes with your team
• Provide original 2D special effects that will enhance videos produced by our Motion Graphic Designers
• Conduct research and establish artistic benchmarks to support creative concepts
• Provide design feedback to internal and 3rd party collaborators
• Create layered compositions of your 2D designs, which can then be translated to movement in After Effects

Desired skills and experiences

• University degree preferably in Graphic Design, Animation or related field
• Experience with bone and sprite sheet animation style
• Basic skills in graphic design, illustration and knowledge of traditional 2D animation techniques and softwares such as Toon Boom and Moho
• Good knowledge of digital visualization tools (i.e. Spine, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Fundamental art principles including color theory, layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and composition
• 3+ years of experience creating 2D Animations
• A portfolio demonstrating your animation skills and style
