WHAT WE NEED:
The 2K Security Team needs a curious and passionate intern who is willing to learn what it takes to protect some of the world’s most popular video games.
This individual would need to bring excitement for video games and combine it with the desire to protect 2K’s employees and property in a meaningful way.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Participate in monitoring for threats against 2K and observe real incidents should they happen
- Get practical experience with some of the most advanced monitoring solutions in the industry
- Learn about what skills are required to be a Security Operations Analyst
- Network with multiple security professionals to learn about their journey into the security industry
- Enhance your current skill set and learn new skills along the way
WHO WE THINK WILL BE A GREAT FIT:
- You are enrolled in either a college or university and majoring in a technical degree (Networking, Cyber Security, Programming, etc)
- You listen to security podcasts, read books on social engineering, or follow security researchers on Twitter
- Someone who hears about the latest security breach and finds how it was accomplished and how it could have been stopped
- You constantly tell your family to stop using your dog’s name for every password they have
- You love to build labs (Physical or Virtual) to understand what you are learning in a practical way
- We are a close team and need someone who understands the importance of teamwork
