Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented and motivated Security Engineer to join its ranks! The ideal candidate will have achieved mastery of their craft having spent time architecting and safeguarding global hybrid cloud environments and corporate and production network infrastructures. This person must also demonstrate a high level of proficiency in analyzing all aspects of risk associated with various current and future infrastructure designs. Most importantly, the security engineer applicant has developed a burning desire to hunt down and eliminate all risk within their organization, just as if it was a Diablo Treasure Goblin. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement Security best practices for Blizzard’s enterprise network including public and private clouds.
• Drive projects that advance security operations capabilities and be accountable for their successful completion.
• Maintain security infrastructure and solutions.
• Provide custom solutions utilizing scripting languages and automation.
• Maintain close relationship with security operations and provide appropriate tooling to increase threat visibility.
• Design and implement security enhancements for the enterprise in close collaboration with business and operational teams.
• Maintain engineering and security documentation; provide training and awareness to employees at all opportunities.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Significant experience with enterprise Cisco network architecture and security design
• Significant experience with public cloud security (GCP, Amazon, Azure, Alibaba)
• Scripting and automation proficiency (e.g., Python, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes)
• Enterprise caliber security appliance / system configuration, deployment, and management experience ranging from firewalls & IPS’ to SIEM’s and proxies (and more!)
• A minimum of 4 years’ within security engineering focused roles in medium to large scale enterprises, and 6 years of enterprise IT experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent applicable experience
• Outstanding communication skills

• CISSP or equivalent security certifications
• Zero trust architecture familiarity
• Splunk familiarity
• Security Software Development Lifecycle familiarity
• Passion for video games and most importantly, safeguarding them!
