Security Architect - VFX in the Cloud

DigitalFish has an imminent need for a broad range of roles in support of our work developing and advancing a large-scale, cloud-hosted, next-generation animation and VFX pipeline in partnership with a renowned global studio.

At DigitalFish, you'll have a unique opportunity to help lead this invention of the future of design, entertainment and play on multiple fronts.

As the Security Lead you'll collaborate with a team of engineers and designers, and with other project teams at our client, to define the security model for a set of content management services deployed to Media & Entertainment companies performing distributed production in the cloud. Your responsibility is to define the architecture by which customer data is secured while in motion and at rest, secure processing in the platform, and securely transfer assets from one company to another.

Responsibilities

• Provide secure-design guidance to Azure projects
• Partner with other architects to share knowledge of the Azure ecosystem
• Identify and provide detailed security and configuration requirements to the cloud and application team
• Perform security architecture assessments, create and drive security standards, and develop operations lifecycle requirements and design capabilities to hold teams accountable for addressing risk in their service offerings
• Perform architecture/design reviews for application, infrastructure, and network designs
• Research emerging technologies and maintain awareness of current security risks in support of client-facing projects
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or another related field plus 8+ years of related experience designing and building security for SaaS solutions
• 2+ years’ Azure experience
• Familiarity with Cloud-Native principles, Microservices, Container orchestration and architecture
• Advanced interpersonal skills to effectively promote ideas and collaboration at the various levels of the client’s organization
• Experience designing, building and operating security solutions in enterprise or service provider cloud environments
• Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, ingenuity, and the ability to work as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
• Experience with at least 3 of the following domains: Security Architecture, Product Development, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Network Security, Incident Handling, Vulnerability Management, Encryption, DevOps, CI/CD
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience architecting cloud-hosted services for enterprises that operate film & video production, animation, visual effects, or post-production services.
• Knowledge of non-RESTful data interfaces (SOAP, Web Sockets, GraphQL, etc.)
• At least one of the following certifications, or a commitment to achieve such a certification as part of the role: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CCSP

Location

Your primary work will be virtual due to COVID-19 restrictions and will stay remote once COVID-19 restrictions lift. As conditions improve, some travel to actual studios may be required.
