Job Description:
The Security Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining and monitoring security logs for the overall infrastructure and game services including network, web application, game application, and other information systems. They must respond to any security incidents or emergency situations and must perform routine security inspections to identify any potential risks. The position must provide support for all security-related day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor and analyze potential areas of risk and opportunities of vulnerability in the company’s network, game(s) and web services
- Install, configure, develop and respond to security monitoring system with security practices of Intranet and Extranet
- Document security issues and assess the damage they cause through analysis
- Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management
- Stay up-to-date on new information technology trends and security standards
Requirements:
Must Have:
- 2-3 years of security analysis experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in computer science, management information systems or related field or equivalent work experience
- Technical understanding and experiences in anti-cheat or anti-fraud detection
- Experience analyzing and monitoring security activities and detecting abnormal behavior
- Knowledge of information security principles and practices
Bonus Points if you have:
Common security knowledge
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of security principles, concepts, and theories
- Planning and implementing security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data
- Ability to operate a security monitoring and data analysis system in a complex, large-scale environment such as Splunk or ELK
- Scripting and/or programming experience with Python desired
Game & Web Security knowledge and experience
- In-depth knowledge of online game cheat tools such as a game bot, memory tool, packet modification, speed hack, etc.
- Knowledge of software runtime analysis, debugging, and security testing techniques, security auditing practices, and underlying software defects that routinely result in security vulnerabilities
- In-depth knowledge of reverse engineering, anti-cracking, anti-debugging
- Basic web security assessment knowledge and experience
