Job Description

Summary

The Security Analyst provides informational and technical security expertise in order to ensure efficient resolution of identified security events. The Analyst will perform threat intelligence activities and may be involved in the incident response process, while challenging current workflows and suggesting improvements or alternatives.

Mission

· Identify operational risks and bring them to an acceptable level for management.

· Administer and maintain the different threat detection solutions implemented worldwide;

· Develop content for all security platforms (SIEM, SAO, Endpoint, IDS);

· Collaborate in all aspect of threat intelligence activities including threat hunting, malware analysis and forensics;

· Develop, maintain and document operational analysis processes

Qualifications

Education

· OSCP, CISSP, SANS, CEH or other major cybersecurity certifications are strong assets;

· Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Sciences or any related discipline is an asset.

Relevant experience

· 2+ years as cyber incident responder and/or security operation center analyst;

· 2+ year in other security related functions such as forensics, malware analysis;

· 2+ years in operating system administration and/or network administration;

· 1+ years in operating a SIEM platform in a fast-paced environment, Splunk an asset;

· Hands-on experience in incident response and coordination.

· Interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Knowledge

· English language is required (oral/written)

· French language is an asset
