Beenox est un studio de développement de jeux vidéo créé en 2000. Situé dans la belle ville de Québec, au Canada, Beenox est une filiale à part entière d’Activision Publishing Inc., chef de file mondial dans le développement interactif.
Le studio est fier de contribuer au développement de la célèbre franchise Call of Duty. Beenox a également pris part au succès des franchises Crash Bandicoot, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Skylanders, Spider-Man et Guitar Hero.

Ta mission
Ta mission sera de collaborer avec ton équipe multidisciplinaire afin de d’implémenter les fonctionnalités du jeu à l’aide des différents outils et langages de script. Tu devras aussi veiller à l’optimisation et la stabilité de tes chantiers pour faciliter un travail collaboratif et efficace. Tu auras à participer à la conceptualisation de nos produits et l’amélioration de nos processus de développement.
Tes objectifs
- Travailler de pair avec des coéquipiers d’expertises diverses de la conception à l’implémentation d’éléments du jeu tels que l’interface utilisateur, les mécaniques de jeu, ainsi que l’intégration d’animations, de sons et d’effets spéciaux;
- Travailler activement à améliorer la productivité de l’équipe et la qualité du jeu en identifiant et corrigeant les problématiques techniques;
- Collaborer comme point de contact technique auprès de l’équipe;
- Contribuer à l’avancement des compétences techniques du département design en étant une référence sur la programmation en script;
- Rester à jour et pousser ses connaissances techniques afin de bien répondre efficacement aux besoins de l’équipe de production.
Profil du (de la) joueur (se)
- Diplômé(e) du collégial ou universitaire en programmation de jeux vidéo, intégration multimédia ou toute autre expérience significative en lien avec le script ou la programmation;
- Connait Lua, Python, Javascript ou C#;
- Motivé(e) par l’apprentissage de nouveaux outils internes et est familier(ère) avec le pipeline de développement de jeux vidéo;
- Travaille de façon efficace et organisé(e);
- Ingénieux(se) dans la résolution des problématiques complexes et de solution créative. Se plait à débugger, optimiser et à se creuser les méninges;
- Aime le travail bien fait, ses collègues n’ont pas besoin de réviser pour corriger ses erreurs;
- Prend l’initiative de proposer des améliorations pour contribuer à augmenter l’efficacité de l’équipe et la qualité des produits;
- Accepte la critique et n’hésite pas à itérer plusieurs fois sur une mécanique pour la rendre meilleure. Persévère face aux changements réguliers.

Your Mission
Your mission will be to collaborate with the other members of your multidisciplinary team to implement game features and game logic using various tools and script languages. You will also be required to optimize and champion best practices in your field of expertise to facilitate efficiency and cooperation . You will participate in conceptualizing products and enhancing development processes.
Your objectives
- Work with teammates with varying areas of expertise on everything from design to implementation of such elements as user interface and game mechanics, as well as integration of animation, sound and special effects;
- Strive to actively improve team productivity and game quality by identifying and resolving technical issues;
- Be the team’s technical go-to person;
- Contribute to advancing the design department’s technical skills by setting the bar for scripting;
- Keep skills updated and further your technical knowledge in order to be able to respond efficiently to the production team’s needs.
Player Profile
- College or university degree in video game programming, multimedia integration or any other relevant experience in scripting or programming;
- Knowledge of Lua, Python, Javascript or C#;
- Interested in learning new in-house tools, familiar with video game pipeline development;
- Efficient and organized work habits;
- Aptitude for solving complex problems and finding creative solutions. Enjoys debugging, optimizing and brainstorming;
- Likes a job well done; co-workers don’t need to fix his/her mistakes;
- Shows initiative by suggesting improvements that will help boost team efficiency and product quality;
- Accepts criticism and will not hesitate to produce several iterations of a mechanical feature to improve on it. Unfazed by regular change;
