Osmo Education from BYJU’s is looking for experienced PreK-5 Sales Representatives to join our expanding team. This person will hunt new business and expand the Osmo Education footprint within a specified territory. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, self-motivated and detail oriented and have the desire to help schools expand their ed tech solutions with innovative technology. In this role you will be responsible for prospecting in white space districts, driving, and closing sales. This person will also bring a proven track record of successfully meeting revenue targets selling to a variety of decision-makers in K-12. They will also show strong emotional intelligence in all interactions with prospects, customers, and colleagues and have the ability to embrace feedback and hold themselves accountable. Compensation will include Base Salary + Commission and Expenses.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and delivering product presentations to groups and decision-makers in-person and via video conferencing.
- Identifying potential prospects through territory analysis using market trends and account-based marketing campaigns.
- Developing proposals, consulting on purchasing options, negotiating terms, strategizing on solutions.
- Developing and executing the strategic sales plan to achieve the company's new business goals.
- Representing Osmo Education at trade shows, exhibits, and local district technology events.
- Accurately managing sales activities and forecasting through Salesforce.
- Working on a wide variety of tasks simultaneously, setting goals, and meeting deadlines.
- Effectively communicating, problem-solving, and collaborating with internal departments.
- Approaching challenges and opportunities with a deep, critical thinking mindset.
About You
- 3+ years in a consultative, PreK-12 field sales position Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, depending on the time of year and district needs.
- Understanding of the educational landscape in specific territory, and Pre-K-5 curriculum to effectively align and communicate features and benefits of Osmo products.
- Proficiency with G Suite and CRM (Salesforce preferred), Self-starter with the ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks, demonstrate problem solving/ solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn in a high-paced sales environment.
