Success in New World ultimately depends on a player’s ability to conquer not only rival players, but Aeternum itself, as it unleashes undead legions, hell-bent on purging them from its shores. New World stands apart from other games in the genre by offering massive siege battles, thrilling supernatural invasions and a stunning and diverse natural setting. We are looking for an experienced Sales Operations Sr. Manager, to build best-in-class forecasting mechanisms incorporating cross-functional business plans, live data, and market research to take our business to the next level!

As we continue our quest to be the most customer-obsessed company in the games industry, we are looking for someone with “insider” level knowledge of the game industry to join our Business Planning team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience ingesting and refining raw data, identifying KPI’s across marketing, research, and behavioral telemetry, and designing accurate/scalable forecasting models leading to improved business decision-making processes at scale. They must be able to write clearly and concisely, lead forecast optimization cycles with engineering teams, marketing/operating teams, and finance partners, handle working under pressure, and manage tight timelines. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as an outstanding gaming business acumen.

Responsibilities:
· Lead bi-monthly meetings with cross-functional teams to communicate forecast tracking based on latest actuals, make recommendations to optimize P&Ls, set global KPI's, and clearly archive/bridge updated forecast assumptions in deliverables to leadership.
· Build and defend scenario plans that size potential business opportunities using multiple data sources and competitive intelligence.
· Analyze price elasticity and provide recommendations to optimize promotional budgets.
· Proactively monitor and report on major game releases and industry events, keeping your operating partners informed of upcoming risks and opportunities.
· Leverage visual displays (Tableau/Quicksight) to simplify complex quantitative information.

Basic Qualifications

· BS/MS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other quantitative field
· 4+ years of industry experience using statistics/predictive forecasting in either Excel, Python, R, SAS, SQL, and/or other Languages/Programs
· Knowledge of underlying mathematical foundations of statistics
· Ability to manage complex P&L's

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous experience/insider knowledge of the gaming industry
· Experience with data processes in AWS technologies
· Superior verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with multiple teams and external organizations
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
