Sales Analyst (Hybrid)

We are nDreams, an award-winning virtual reality publisher and developer with a portfolio of award-winning games, including Phantom: Covert Ops, Fracked, Far Cry VR: Dive into Insanity, and the upcoming Ghostbusters VR.
Our industry-leading publishing team has over 25 years’ combined experience within the VR space, plus decades more across major games companies. We create innovative and impactful marketing and commercial campaigns, whilst constantly monitoring the market to ensure our games stay ahead of the competition.
In addition to supporting the release of our internally developed titles, we announced our Third-Party Publishing Initiative last year, to co-fund and publish games from other studios. Our first title is cosy city creator, Little Cities. Following a recent $35 million investment, we’ve got even more incredible titles across both existing and future VR platforms to be announced soon.
As our team continues to grow, we’re on the search for an experienced and effective Sales Analyst to join the Sales and Business Intelligence team! You will oversee the collection and analysis of commercial data, and aid us in researching, reporting and title forecasting. Reporting into the Senior Manager for Sales, Planning & Analytics, you will collaborate closely with incredibly talented people across the publishing team, wider business, and senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
Forecasting & Evaluation
- Forecast and evaluate nDreams titles and third-party titles, applying a variety of proven forecasting and analysis techniques based on market intel.
- Evaluate lifecycle & promotional sales performance across all titles to ensure the maximisation of the commercial potential from launch through to back-catalogue management.
- Improve forecasting processes by working with management teams, identifying risks, areas for improvement, and ways to automate the process.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse sales and market data and provide impactful summaries (games, competitor insights, market) to management.
- Inspect in-game data to provide valuable market intel for future titles and decision making.
- Collaborate with the commercial team on dashboard creation for interactive data analysis and reporting.
- Collect data from across the video game market, including digital storefronts. Proactively identify other avenues to collect data such as media, partners and developers.
Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience in a related field. A degree or equivalent in a relevant field is desirable – for example finance, mathematics, sales or computer science.
- Exceptional analytical and statistical skills, with high attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player with experience working constructively within a busy team.
- Organised and meticulous, with good written, visual and verbal communication skills .
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel. Experience working with Power BI or other business analytics services is highly desirable.
- Understanding of digital platforms and markets.
- Enthusiasm for videogames and an understanding of the videogame industry would be advantageous.
