Safety Operations Specialist, Trust & Safety

As a Safety Operations Specialist for Trust & Safety, you will provide operational support for Roblox's Moderation Safety Escalations team. Together with Legal, Policy, and Customer Service, you'll execute on our enforcement strategy, and manage global, time-sensitive escalations and incidents. To handle emerging real-life situations quickly, you'll become a subject matter expert in Trust & Safety areas that cover a wide range of bad user behaviors.
You will be an expert in Roblox's internal and external safety policies, be familiar with the tools we use to keep our users safe, and be able to make data-driven decisions on how to improve the company's overall escalation ecosystem.

You will report to the Senior Manager of New Moderation Initiatives.
You Have:
- Experience working with operational management, internal and external relationship building, and working cross functionally
- Knowledge of online abuse types
- Ability to moderate sensitive content with high quality and precision
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Fast, critical decision-making and prioritization skills for offline crisis management
You Will:
- Handle high visibility escalations on content moderation issues
- Identify trends and patterns through content review
- Anticipate user risks, negotiate solutions, and balance business needs within technical constraints
- Provide policy implementation feedback
- Serve as a consultative partner to our vendor team, and provide subject matter expertise for processing all types of requests with a high degree of quality and efficiency
- Be the first point of contact for mitigating safety escalations across the company
