Gaming content moderation manager #1015

Contract Length: 12 months, extension possible

Work Location: Work From Home but candidate must be local to the Greater Seattle Area

Work Hours: Fulltime

A renowned game studio is seeking a highly-motivated, experienced Safety & Enforcement Program Manager to help drive systems, policies, and processes to ensure our players have a safe and positive online experience with their games and services.

In this role, you will help develop and manage our safety and enforcement programs, our day-to-day operations, compliance, opportunities and more in partnership with stakeholders across the studio and company. The ideal candidate shares a passion and commitment to our players while having the resilience and objectivity to deal with sensitive matters fairly and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall systems, policies, and processes needed to create a safe, inclusive, and positive online gaming experience for Halo players

• Partner with stakeholders to ensure Microsoft safety compliance for Halo games and services

• Establish a studio safety v-team, lead regular meetings, create regular reporting to share insights, trends, and areas of opportunity with stakeholders

• Help handle day-to-day player reports, content moderation, enforcement-related tickets, investigations, and outcomes

• Identify internal needs and gaps to continually evolve and improve our capabilities

• Work with internal and external partners on data gathering, investigations, and risk assessments

• Help drive external safety and enforcement player communications

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience working in community management, moderation, safety, enforcement, or related in gaming
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-faceted programs in a fast-paced environment
• Successful track record driving cross-team workstreams, collaborating across different disciplines
• Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
• World class written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Halo's games and community

Pluses

• Familiarity with ZenDesk, ADO, general CMS (content management systems)
• Experience with PC security landscape
• Experience working with a live service multiplayer game
